Ana Kristina Gasteyer (born January 1st, 1977) is a popular American comic and singer. She is most famous for having been a regular participant of NBC's sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live between 1996 between 1996 and 2002. Seit then she has starred in sitcoms such as ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto as well as the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer's acting career started with Northwestern University. She originally was enrolled as a vocal major but moved to theater when she became involved with the campus comedy club. Sheila Shay from Suburgatory was a very controlling character, as she is in Lady Dynamite. Karen Grisham was the character played by Karen Grisham who had a quirky personality. Nena la Reguera's mother had been Miss Veracruz. Nena also became an editor. Reguera first began ballet before pursuing a degree in the arts of performance at Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
